RusVinyl PVC integrated plant and “RZD Logistika” signed an agreement for transport and logistics services. 

RusVinyl PVC integrated plant signed an agreement for transport and logistics services with “RZD Logistika” (RZDL), the leading Russian 3PL operator. The logistic company will be in charge of organizing the internal logistics, including: delivery and removal of rail cars at Zeletsino station (Nizhniy Novgorod region), maneuver works, allocation of rail cars for loading-unloading fronts, preparation of shipment documents, handover-acceptance operations, commercial and technical inspection of rail cars, technical maintenance of the railway track of 13 km long.

«For RusVinyl it is important to provide consumers with high quality products as well as full cycle of services, including reliable and flexible logistics. We’re sure that our partnership with RZDL will contribute for execution of this task», - said Roman Evseev, RVL logistics director.

RusVinyl has already a cooperation experience  with JSC RZD Logistika already has an experience of cooperation with RusVinyl LLC – since April 2014 the company has been rendering cisterns rental services and forwarding services for containers to Byelorussia.

“We are glad that cooperation of RZDL with RusVinyl is reaching a principally new level of the logistics services rendering – 3PL. The purpose of RZDL in this project is to decrease the company expenses by around 10%. From the beginning of 2016 we will start the needed preparation works, and from March we are planning to undertake the internal logistics of the client” – commented by the deputy CEO of JSC RZD Logistika Mr.Eduard Alyrzaev.

3PL (Third Party Logistics) means providing logistics services or a set of services – from delivery and Bin location warehousing to orders management and tracking of goods. The service provider functions include organizing and managing transportation, stock accounting and stock management, preparation of import-export and freight documentation, warehouse storage, cargo handling, delivery up to the final consumer.
